What you can do

Read articles, subscribe to the newsletter, share links, quote excerpts (with attribution and a link), and post comments. We’re glad you’re here.

What you can’t do

  • Republish full articles without permission. Quoting a paragraph or two with a link back is fine; pasting the whole piece on your own site is not.
  • Scrape the site at high volume or in ways that interfere with normal operation. If you want bulk access for research or syndication, email partnerships@pagebreak.co.
  • Use comments to harass, threaten, or post illegal content. We moderate comments and reserve the right to remove anything that violates this rule.
  • Pretend to be one of our writers, an editor, or any other person. The comment section is for real engagement, not impersonation.

Comments

When you submit a comment, you’re granting us a license to display it on the article and in any associated archive (e.g., the newsletter). We may edit comments for length or clarity but won’t change their substance without telling you. We can remove comments at our discretion.

Affiliate links and ads

Some articles contain affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The site may also show advertising via third-party ad networks. Neither affiliate nor ad revenue influences our editorial coverage. See our editorial standards for details.

Accuracy and corrections
